''Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion, for every opinion now accepted was once eccentric''

kk k Physics is based on well-founded concepts, and its progress relies heavily on the creation of new concepts. Our understanding of Physics deepens as we gain new perspectives on already existing notions. Therefore, Physics continuously requires both new concepts and new perception of the old ones.
THE CONCEPTS OF PHYSICS constitutes a unique forum for publishing articles dealing with old and new ideas on Nature. The articles may be, and often must be, controversial, and occasionally hard to accept for other scientific journals. We welcome both theoretical and experimental physicists to submit such papers to THE CONCEPTS OF PHYSICS, where all contributions will be reviewed open-mindedly. Negative referee reports will no longer mean automatic rejection, as we may also publish material objected to by the referees. In such cases, the papers shall be augmented by their critical comments, this being a necessary condition for an open-dialogue journal. The whole Physics community is then invited to discuss and constructively criticize articles published by THE CONCEPTS OF PHYSICS.

Since 2007 we edit the electronic version of our journal (ISSN 1897-2357) which is available on www.metapress.com.
